Carpet TrimmerThe ProblemIn addition to doing an excellent job of laying down new carpet, installers have to safeguard baseboards and hardwood floors. Conventional carpet trimming tools make this difficult; the trimmer is designed to cut off excess carpet while running along the edge of baseboards. The SolutionTo protect baseboards, a .75mm adhesive-backed UHMW strip is applied to the running surface. Now, the tool has better glide properties, protects woodwork and is easily replaced.
